Hello, good day !

Whether you prefer a "New", or whether you like "Old" like me...

I hit on a rare old book.
It was published 1922 and is Manual of sewing machine behind.

私は古本が大好きなんですが、
先日、大正１１年発行のミシン全書を見つけました。

Yes, It's written in Japanese :)

私のミシンも戦前ですので、こういった分厚い手順書が見つかって本当に良かったです。

This book is giving some machines for the world.

The generation changes, knowledge about them becomes rare..

部品がひとつひとつ丁寧に書かれているので時間があると見比べています。
時折調子が悪くなる箇所があるんですが、そこがまさに細かく乗っていました。

A mechanical part is written on this correctly, so I'll compare those.

The machine will be the quite easy make..

I like the one which moves without electricity.
Tokyo is full of electricity.
When those stops, Even door doesn't open, doesn't recognize our pass.

簡単な洋裁もあるのが気になるところ

I'm interested in this shorts on the book.

Oh my English level, It isn't made translations.  but It's said "economical" about homemade.

戦前の本は厳しいですね
前にも手順書を読まずにやる人は愚かだとハッキリ書いてあって、まさに私なのですけど。賢く行うには何でもマニュアルですね。
この本も手にした以上、賢く利用させて頂きたいと思います。

Carme blouse — sewing

Hello lovely girls and ladies :) hope you are all right !

I sewed a blouse in this spring, its name carme-blouse

春のブラウスを縫いました。（型紙のショップは上をクリック）

It has the pleasure from which .. cloth with plain color is chosen.

I chose pink and wooden buttons.
You may know that is an image of cherry blossom and tree.

なんとなくおわかりのように、ピンクと木製のボタンで桜のイメージです。

I'd like to sew blue or green or red blouse too :)

We Japanese are long holiday soon, so I have several work to have to finish before vacation.

型紙のサイズが調整いらずでとても楽チンです。
過去にも彼女の型紙を色々と縫っているので、そのうちまとめようと思います。

もうすぐゴールデンウィークですね
片付ける仕事、立てる予定、準備するもの、せっせとやりましょかー

The stripes for men's

I think this wool manufacturer " Quince & Co" is loved by people of the world widely.
Its colors ,wool , natural beautiful models   I'm always checking all DM.

I have not knitted my sweater yet, so I'd like to knit something with my design in the next winter.
The one knitted is husband's cardigan.

「Quince & Co」の毛糸で主人のカーデを編みました。

A problem is not look good on him.
I think It's a problem of my pattern, that he don't fit seems.

残念ながら編んでいる途中から全く似合わないという事がわかりました。それはむしろデザインよりパターンがおかしいという感じなんですけれど、どこが合ってないのか、次はどうしたらいいかなど考えながら、ずいぶん時間がかかって編み終わりました。

This striped design can be applied, If you make pattern.
I think it's pretty if it's made in "matching outfits" between lovers, married couple and the parent and child etc, with 2 colors you like of course.

Stripes are divided into parts of 4 mainly. If I say easily,  divide the size into 5 equal parts.

デザイン自体は良いと思いますので、パターンをご自身で作れる方は自分のやり方でぜひやってみて下さい。恋人同士や、夫婦で親子でパパと息子などなど、ペアルックで着てもシンプルで分かりにくく可愛いんじゃないかなと思います。

パーツは大まかに４つに分かれていますので、サイズを単純に５等分して、お好きな２色をシマシマにして出来上がりです。

If you can't make the pattern, and if this design was liked, I wish that you find this somewhere someday.

もし気に入ったけどパターンなんか作れないヨ　って方もですね、影で動いている方はいますので、どこかの国で見つかるかもしれませんヨ。

And I remembered, I knitted husband's snood year before last..

ついでに思い出したのですが、こちらの毛糸で一昨年スヌードを編みました。
どこにでもありそうでどこにあるのさっていうのが私のデザインの良さかしらって、思いたいんですがどうなんでしょう。

This snood is good for a business suit.

Left and right is "K2,P2 ribbing "
and center is "moss stitch" of…. when Row 1:K2, P2 — Row2 : K2,P2 — Row3: P2,K2 — Row4:P2,K2 — Row5: K2,P2

編み方は「２目ゴム編み」を左右に入れて、中心が「かのこ編み」しています。
かのこは  ２目ずつを２段ごとにずらしています。四角いブロックのようになります。

シンプルでスーツによく合いますし、父にも編みましたが気に入ってよく使ってくれています。その時の毛糸はプリンセスアニーだったと思います、あれもチクチクしなくて良い毛糸ですね
