Long shawl

When there is a long and wide shawl, It is good also a blanket with your children and husband or your dog and cat. We can all warm together.  but when wrapping on your neck, the yarn needs to be light.

For that reason, this yarn " Cosy lala Berlin" is sufficient thickness and very light. 

幅の広のマフラーがあると、ブランケットにもなって便利です。長いので隣にいる人も犬も猫も皆一緒に暖まれます。

こんだけ大きいと首に巻くと重くなりますが、この毛糸”cosy lala berlin" は厚みがあるのにとても軽いです。

I used 7 ~8 donuts, Cast on 70 stitches. 

First 10 rows and end of 10 rows are 2x2 ribbing. 

７～８玉、作り目は７０、１３号の棒針または輪針。

最初と最後の１０段が２目ゴム編み、左右２目ずつガーター編み

Left 2 sts and right 2 sts are garter knitting.

This pattern is simple, It is good project when sitting in front of TV , or when you are outside, or waiting for someone. 

 単純な模様はテレビ前の編み物に最適ですね。外にいるときや誰かを待っている時でも間違いにくい

模様は下記の要領で６目６段の繰り返しです。
この模様はユニセックスだと思います、合太で暗めの色で編めば男性ようになりますし、中細で男の子のセーターにしても良さそうな気がします。

Repeat these 6 sts x 6 rows.
I think this pattern is unisex. If you use DK,light worsted yarn with dark color it will be good for men, and it's also good for little boy's sweater with fingering, sock yarn.

編み物の季節！楽しみましょう

Sweater of Alafosslopi

Alafosslopi is Iceland yarn. Wool is a little hard, but It's wonderful warmth for outside of cold and snow day.

アラフォスロピーはアイスランドの毛糸です。少し硬いのですが雪国の毛糸なだけあって暖かいです、雪の日はセーター１枚でも出られるくらい暖かいです。

I put my favorite pattern in the center. 

中心には自分の気に入った模様を入れてみました。こちらは公開しているスヌードから書き出すことができますよ。

I wanted to write down thins center pattern, but the work has not ended yet.

The needle is 5,5mm, so you will finish it faster than you use 3mm needle.

針が１３号くらいなので３号で編むことと比べたら、むちゃくちゃ早く編みおわります。

My village will fall to 9 degree below zero in winter, but it rarely snow. 

私の住む場所は早朝マイナス９度まで下がって寒いのですが、雪が全く降りません。降水量がない。だから去年たくさん降った時は嬉しかった。車が動かないとか、雪かきを早朝からとか、バス停まで片道１，７ｋｍあるとか、今思うと楽しいイベントだったなぁ。

A lot of snow fell in the previous winter. I experienced some snow works. the car did not move. My husband walked to a distant bus stop. but me ? it was FUN !! 
I want to see snow this year too...

and I wearing a sweater.

The yarn is remaining, I will knit a hat with them.

まだ２玉くらい残っているので帽子とか小物を編んでしまおうと思っています。やっと秋ですね、わくわく！

Light cardigan

First time I used alpaca yarn of " Drops ". 
The yarn ( light as a fairy's ) is attractive in price. Why are not they sold in Japan..!?  

お財布に優しい毛糸メーカー、ドロップスですが、なぜか日本では販売していないようです。私が選んだアルパカは妖精のように軽やか、機会があったら一度は手に取ってみてください。

 This summer was too hot, several people died for that. I think Summer of Japan is dangerous. Indoor air conditioner is cold like winter, outside is hot as boiling up. This temperature difference is not good for health.
When I was a child, Summer was not so hot. Clearly, the temperature of Japan is rising... 

本当に今年は暑かったですね、我が家は山に近く木もあって、それでいて風を直接受ける場所にあるので？去年はクーラーいらずで、一昨年も涼しかったそうな夏ですが、今年は本当に暑かった。

それでもあちこち持って行く。暑くてほとんど１段ずつ進んでいるような感じ。３ミリなので果てしない感じ、でも進めば何だっていいのですけどね。

Anyway I was knitting here and there.. 

I will do even one row at a time. 

Five months later, it finished knitting.

It took a lot of time, so I'm happy to wear it.

５ヶ月たってようやく編み終わり、春から秋になったところでした。

I would like to knit another yarn of "Drops" .

Summer garden

Hello ! I hope that you enjoying the summer !
My place is also hot like every day (30~35℃), there are more garden work .

毎日暑くなってきましたがお元気にお過ごしでしょうか？　先日の異常な大雨にはびっくりしました。被害に遭われた方々には一日でも早く平穏な生活に戻れるよう、心からお祈りいたしております。

I like to get together color in place. 
The side of the parking is an orange flower bed. 

Also orange lily and sunflower are in bloom. 

さて、庭の話になりますが、私は色が揃っているのが好きで、生地や毛糸もさることながら、洗濯物も色別に並べてしまう人なのです。
なので自然と庭の中も色を分けたくなります。上の写真は駐車場横の花壇、こちらはオレンジコーナー。

問題は１度掘り起こした球根で、はて、何色だったかわからなくなる。そこでミックスコーナーも作ってあります。

The problem is bulbs. During storage, I forget what color this bulb is.
So, I make a flowerbed with mixed colors . 

It is cute that colors mix together. 
Small flower are mixed, but it does not appear well in the photo.

Japan is a country with a lot of rain. It is necessary to keep bulbs out of soil almost. Otherwise the bulb will rot. We keeping tulips now. 

The white one in the photo is my shallow pond. It's pity that the water will leak. I wanted to see small fish. 

Many flowers are blooming also in the flower bed on the pond. 
This kind of flower can not be seen at all in winter, but it does not wither even under the snow. In the summer more flowers will bloom than last year. North American flower ? 

Phlox or Paniculata 

and Acidanthera, white marigold, and pink Gladiolus, this flower bed is  pink place.  

上は池の上の花壇に咲いているフロックスという種類の花です。うちは、園芸でいうところの「強い霜があたる」場所なのでほとんどの植物が凍って枯れていくなか、フロックスは生き残り、この夏、去年よりさらに多い花を見せてくれました。

I like also white place. This kind of flower keeps bloom for 100 days. I don't know if it is true, but I have not seen the flowers wither yet. next year I will sow more species !

big variety of Zinnia 

上は百日草。名の通り１００日間花が咲き続けるそうですが、本当に長く咲いています。種は直接撒いただけなので、来年はもっと植えたいです。こちらは白い花壇。
他にも紫、ピンク、黄色コーナーがあるのですよ

And kitchen garden 

キッチンガーデンも賑わっております。畑から台所へ直接運ばれるみずみずしい野菜、嬉しいですね。今年はししとう、トマトが豊作です。トマト甘くておいしい！

It's happy that we can harvest little vegetables but every day, from the garden to the kitchen. 

庭仕事のあとは、キウイスムージーが格別においしいです。材料は去年庭でとれたキウイを切って冷凍したもの、凍らせたバナナ、蜂蜜または砂糖、冷たい水またはミルクを少々、ミキサーにガリガリかけます。ひんやり美味しい！

After garden work, Kiwi smoothies is a wonderful drink !

There are 2 goats in the Backyard. 

我が裏庭には、ヤギが２頭います

My goat named " Natsu" is extraordinary energetic. The meaning of "Natsu" is Summer.

When rain goes up, she is pleased. 

She likes my laughter. 

When I call out She come while jumping. 

She lives happily today as she is. Enjoy what she have now. 

I like her.

上の写真はナツ。夏らしく、この子はとてもパワフルな女の子で。雨があがれば喜び、私が笑うと喜び、名前を呼ぶとジャンプしながら喜んでやってくる。

今という時間に満足し、なんにもない毎日をただ楽しんでいる子。

And my "Wip" is this. 

It is growing little by little. 

Maybe I am off the Instagram a little, or during the summer.

Dress with embroidery

I sewed the embroidered dress. 

Even if not good flower design , the dress will be a bit luxurious.

ちょっと前に刺繍入りでワンピースを縫いました。お花のデザインはたいしたことないですが、刺繍を入れることでワンピースが少しゴージャスになる気がしませんか？

It is better to decide the color and sketch for draft. because we repeat the same flower embroidery .

同じ花を何度も刺繍するので、たとえちゃんとした物でなくても、スケッチをして色を決めてしまうといいと思います。

どっちにしろ私には難しいのですが、なるべく省略しながらやると可愛く仕上がる気がします

It is not cute when trying to express faithfully. it seems better to omit a bit .

一から洋裁をしなくても、既製品にちょこっと刺繍してもよいと思います。ぜひやってみましょう

First strawberry

When I had time, I was doing knitting. but after moving to the countryside, I am gardening very much. 
Japan has much rain compared to Europe ( I have only lived in Japan and Europe, so I don't know other countries) Therefore, the grass grows faster.

　東京にいた時は時間があれば編みものをしていましたが、今は庭仕事ばかりしています。庭というのは広ければ良いというものでもなくて、ちょっとあれば良いいのかもしれません。近所でも農家の人は庭師を頼んでいて、びっくりするような金額ですが、仕事はさすがに完璧です。春は見事に咲く庭木を一本は持っていて、田舎の庭は本当に綺麗です。

Farmers come to see our garden from time to time. County garden is large, many of them hire gardener. Professional job is really perfect.

I bought this strawberry in Tokyo . it was a very small planting strawberry and never made berry in the balcony of Tokyo.  
But it increased a lot since I planted in the soil of garden. 

simple pleasure 

 この苺は、東京のホームセンターで売っていた小さな苗でした。当時は肥料やったり日当たりを気にしても、ベランダでは決して実をつけなかった、花をつけても苺にはならなかった残念な苗でした。
越してすぐ土に下ろしてあげたら、１年で猛烈に増えて、今年なんとカゴいっぱい取れました。

But We need to improve the soil. because it is very sour 

庭から摘んだイチゴでジャムを作る　というシンプルな事に喜び、甘い香りに満たされます。

I made a Jam :)

Green Cardigan

I bought this yarn for bargain sale at craft shop "Yuzawaya" in Tokyo.  

Gradients are lively(?) shades. so, I knit simple design.

この毛糸はユザワヤの冬のセールで購入しました。賑やかな色なのでシンプルなカーディガンにしました。

あちこち行く時に持って行きましたが、つい編みすぎてしまい、しかも滅多な事では直さないので、ポケットがだいぶ下になってしまいました。でもポケットがあると便利ですね。

Buttons are also simple. 

My pocket was too low... but

I promote you to put pocket, it is very convenient. 

I sewed this dress with embroidery. It's a warm linen ( of Japanese fabric ) 

刺繍入りワンピースも手作りです。残った毛糸は靴下になりましたヨ

And Remaining yarn became socks :)

Happy punching !

I bought a punch needle from USA. It is not fun that the shipping cost to Japan was more expensive than the needle. But It was a LOT of fun to punching and I got my favorite work !

It is difficult to decide the design. You need to skip something on the drew. because we can not divide color freely like a paint. This uses wool. Yarn color is limited.

　アメリカからパンチニードルを買ってやってみました。毛糸を通してブスブス刺すだけでできるようなのです。しかし、私が買った針が１０番っていうのが大きすぎたのか、または生地が見えないくらいに刺しまくったせいか、何しろけっこうハードな手仕事でした。出来上がってみるととても気に入ったので良かったですが。

　唯一、難しいなと思うのはデザインを決めるところ。毛糸の色は限られているので、使える色から絵を決める必要があります。絵の具のように色を自由に使えないということは、影を出したいなーとかが出来ない。逆に絵を描くのが苦手な人には簡単にできるかもしれませんね。

My work is densely woven yarns. It pushed much, so it was hard. I used needle No,10. but I don't know what number is best for you. I will buy other sizes.
